COME PREPARED
The interview is more productive when the essential information is ready and consistent with the original application.
Two or three representative tracks, including the priority release or project.
A clear explanation of the artist identity, audience and next 12-month objectives.
Release history, genuine audience data, active campaigns and current opportunities.
Existing collaborators, distribution, label, publishing, management or other commitments.
Available time, realistic budget, completed assets and areas requiring outside support.
Questions about responsibilities, communication, costs, compensation and decision-making.
An artist may bring one manager, adviser, lawyer or authorized team representative. Do not share passwords, original identity documents or confidential master files during the first meeting.

The meeting is exploratory. It allows both sides to exchange useful information without creating a management relationship before written terms are agreed.
Input Record contacts applicants selected after the application and evaluation stages.
Claims about rights, audience, budgets, agreements and opportunities must be accurate and verifiable.
Share only what is necessary for the review. Passwords and original identity documents are never required.
The meeting creates no representation, exclusivity, payment obligation or guarantee of a proposal.

Are the priorities specific, realistic and connected to a practical 12-month plan?
Can both parties communicate honestly, handle disagreement and respect professional boundaries?
Are the timeline, team, budget, catalogue and required services workable?
