MANAGEMENT PAGE 7 — DECISION METHOD

One decision, three professional reviews

Input Record combines the application, exploratory interview and operational feasibility review. The method creates consistency, but no score can replace due diligence, professional judgment or mutual trust.

WEIGHTED REVIEW

Three reviews become one result

40%Application evaluation
40%Exploratory interview
20%Feasibility & due diligence

Final result = application score × 40% + interview score × 40% + feasibility score × 20%.

Due diligence may include verification of rights, agreements, credits, public information, genuine audience data, budget assumptions and the availability of the people required for the work.

POSSIBLE OUTCOMES

80–100

Proposal pathway
Input Record may prepare a written collaboration proposal, subject to final terms.

70–79

Conditional or pilot pathway
A limited project, trial period or specific conditions may be proposed before broader management.

60–69

Development pathway
The artist may receive priorities to strengthen before a future review.

Below 60

No proposal at this stage
The project is not selected for the current management cycle.

DECISION PROCESS

How the conclusion is reached

The numerical result organizes the review. Input Record then tests whether a responsible and realistic working relationship can actually be offered.

01

Consolidate

Application and interview scores are recorded with the observations supporting each assessment.

02

Verify

Essential rights, agreements, credits, audience claims, budgets and project facts may be checked.

03

Test feasibility

Input Record reviews timing, workload, expertise, financing, network and the resources needed to deliver responsibly.

04

Review conflicts

Existing commitments, authority limits and possible conflicts are examined before any proposal is considered.

05

Choose a pathway

The project enters the proposal, pilot, development or non-selection pathway according to the complete review.

06

Communicate

The artist receives the outcome or next step. Only a later written proposal can define possible collaboration terms.

DECISION SAFEGUARDS

A score never replaces due diligence

A proposal may be stopped regardless of score if there are unresolved ownership disputes, false information, artificial streaming activity, abusive conduct, a conflicting agreement, undisclosed obligations, illegal activity or a serious breakdown of trust.

Input Record may also decline when the project is strong but the required expertise, time, financing or network is not currently available. This is a capacity decision, not necessarily a judgment on the artist’s talent.

There is no application or exploratory-interview fee. Future costs, commissions, service fees, revenue shares or reimbursable expenses must appear in a written proposal and contract before work begins.

WHAT THE RESULT MEANS

A decision is not yet an agreement

No automatic acceptance

Reaching a threshold does not guarantee that Input Record will issue a proposal.

No representation yet

Input Record cannot act for the artist until authority is defined in a signed agreement.

No hidden financial terms

Compensation, expenses and revenue participation must be disclosed and negotiated in writing.

No public contract

The full agreement remains private and is prepared only after proposal terms are understood.

Selected projects move to a written collaboration proposal

The proposal defines the objectives, services, responsibilities, timeline, governance and financial model before any private agreement is prepared.
